In my current role as a Local Growth Project Manager, I have been actively involved in the Skills Bootcamps programme since Wave 4 (2023/24) and currently lead delivery for the Solent Growth Partnership, overseeing all aspects of provision. I am committed to supporting delivery partners to develop learners’ skills and confidence, enabling individuals to progress into employment while helping businesses unlock growth, secure new contracts, and enhance the visibility of their products and services. I also adopt a proactive, hands-on approach to developing colleagues, drawing on my experience to strengthen capability, build confidence, and drive success across the team.
Previously, I managed a diverse portfolio of projects funded through the Local Growth Fund and Getting Building Fund, spanning initiatives from small business grants on local high streets to major infrastructure schemes across the Solent region. Delivering projects that create tangible benefits for businesses, communities, and the wider regional economy is a key source of professional motivation.
I began my career in the Civil Service at HM Land Registry, where I worked as both a Senior Technician and Local Management Trainer. I later gained extensive experience within Portsmouth and London-based law firms, including international practices, and as an Office Manager led business development, audits, and compliance, achieving recognised standards such as Law Society Quality Standards and Investors in People while driving continuous improvement.
