I work at Solent Growth Partnership as a Business Advisor, connecting businesses across the Solent with the guidance, funding, and opportunities that can genuinely move things forward.

One of the things I focus on is helping businesses find funding and growth opportunities they didn’t know existed. There’s more out there than most people realise – grants, investment, support programmes – but it’s easy to miss if you don’t know where to look. I help you make the case and go after it with confidence.
I also work with businesses on sustainability and net zero. Not as a box-ticking exercise, but as a genuine opportunity. Because here’s something I see a lot – businesses quietly losing money in ways they haven’t stopped to look at. Energy waste. Inefficient processes. Supplier costs that haven’t been reviewed in years. Getting on top of your environmental impact often means getting on top of your bottom line too. The two go hand in hand more than people think.
I’ve spent over 25 years working across the third sector, public sector, and social enterprise – and most of that time has been about one thing: helping organisations and businesses find a path forward when things feel complicated. That’s what I bring here.
I ended up in this role because I genuinely enjoy seeing businesses take a step they didn’t think was possible. There’s something really satisfying about knowing a conversation helped someone spot an opportunity and act on it.
