I’ve spent more than a decade working with SMEs across the Solent, helping business owners access the funding, skills, and guidance they need to grow. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to keep all the plates spinning. I have started and grown a business myself – so I know the pressure, the ambition, and the constant juggling act you’re managing.
At Solent Growth Partnership, I lead the delivery of funded support programmes designed to help you build skills, strengthen your team, and unlock new opportunities. I work closely with partners across the public and private sectors to make sure the region’s business support ecosystem works smoothly, efficiently, and collaboratively – so you get the right support at the right time.
I find working with early stage founders particularly rewarding. Those lightbulb moments, the shift from uncertainty to confidence, the spark that comes when someone realises they can overcome a challenge – that’s why I do this work. I love seeing what happens when business owners connect with each other, form supportive networks, and realise they’re not alone in the journey.

The experience I gained throughout the pandemic, supporting businesses to diversify, think on their feet and access financial support to keep them trading was incredible challenging and rewarding. I was awe-struck by the determination and agility displayed by businesses of all sizes and in all sectors. If I didn’t realise before exactly how valuable the right support at the right time could be for a business, I certainly had this confirmed during this period. It really brought it home just how vital the work we do is. I am very proud to be part of a service offering practical support that can really make a difference to the success of businesses in our region.
